Help with college work

Hi,

I'm doing a HNC in mecanical engineering and need to do a project. what i need to know is there a demand for a car trailer that would be able to lift a car over head to allow you to work on it a track days also if you know of any where that my do some thing smilar let me know thanks

the garage i used to work in had a car lift that looked like a large pallet truck. it was easily moved and ran of a car battery i used to use it for doing gearboxes/ clutches etc on front wheel drive cars. i cant remember the name of it but im dropping in to the garage next week and willl get you the name. this could be incoporated into a trailer and used or even lowered off the trailer and used that way. Chris that car lift looks like it would blow over in a light wind

lol well that put that idea out the window lol. my toerh one is to make a valve system that alway has the optimum air velosity in the in valve system and is not blocked by the valve. so i will be doing that one then lol should be good fun.

TCR (Total Chicken Racing) had a trailer for sale that he used for his race car, he had two side pods welded up about 2 foot higher than the bed that the car just rolled up on. Had storage in the pods and a built in car pit to crawl under and work on the car in the pits.
