Hi All,

I've just bought some new calipers but they came without the pad carrier and slider pins, anyone any idea where I could get some?

Cheers

Chris :)

HI,
What calipers are they Chris ? I work for halfords and we do some pad fitting kits if thats what your looking for?

They're for the Sierra rears and Ford focus rears.

They're not fitting kits it's the cast bit that the pads fit into and the pins that this part slides on in use.

Cheers

Chris :)

Ah.... I've looked at that website and couldn't find them, I'll have to give them a ring.

Thanks

Chris :)

give these chappies a call they managed to supply me with all the pistons, seals, pins, shims and springs etc etc to restore a set of rare brembo calipers.

Maybe a bit of a longshot Chris, try Golf rear brakes the carrier bolts to the radius arm and the caliper slides on the bolted in retaining pins/bolts.
Audi use the same idea.
I take it its the wide "u " shaped part you refer to.

And if any of you nice people out there have Autocad files of a chassis I would be most gratefull flyerncle-aero@yahoo.co.uk.
