I bought a chassis before the new book came out.:o
It was sold as 'Triton' chassis. with IRS setup.
Think tank Required.
Do I
1/ Purchase from a supplier, suspension parts etc.

2/ Atempt to fabricate suspension to new book dimensions with
alterations.

3/ Sell up and Start from scratch.:(

Does anybody have any information regarding Triton Parts

If it is a locost book chassis you could just build it to Ron champions spec instead of the new book. If you want to build to the new book I would suggest it will be better to sell up and start from scratch.

This chassis has independant rear suspension and it is this aspect of the build that may give me problems.

You could try looking on locostbuilders.co.uk as there are guys that sell plans for IRS rear ends on there if you ask.

IMHO I would sell up and go the new book route - from what I've seen of anything Martin Keenan has a hand in it's top notch stuff, and seeing as he helped in the chassis dept. on the new roadster and will be selling a lot of bits n' bobs including bodywork that's the route I'd take.

Stick with what you have.

Independant rear suspension is no rear hardship, and Roty's plans are available free.
