i have fully welded cp1,3,4,5,6 & 7 along with shock mounts and welded it to the frame work and have just noticed that itsnt stitting horrizontal and leaning downwards, i have also built the whole rear section of the car aswell. the question is will i be able to heat it up and move it upwards or do i have to cut it off the chassis and re do the chassis plate section again?

If your saying the whole rear chassis is on the skew.... you'll have to chop it out and do it again :( You'll be able to heat stuff up, but all your doing is curving tubes and plates, as the welded joint angle ain't going to change. So unless you want a car shaped like a banana :p

i think i will just cut the plate off the chassis and buy some new 1's. there's a place called www.oweneng.co.uk that sell them all ready put together and the plates are foldedinstead of welded any1 bought anything from there before??????

if i understand correctly, maybe you can fix it by just cutting around the top on 3 sides & then just lift it up like a lid till its horizental then use some spacers to prevent it from going back when you fully weld.
