View Full Version : Q radiator Expansion/ header tank

Hi all, for IVA does the radiator header/expansion tank have to have a min and max level indicator????? and or be made of see threw materal ???
Im kinda hoping not since iv made a nice one out of some 2 1/2 inch stainless pipe with some end camps, but thought id best ask, couldnt find anything in the manual but might have missed it>

my understanding of the regs are that the expansion tank doesn,t need markings, tho might be an idea to have a label on the cap saying what it is :rolleyes: .... ie expansion tank, just so they don,t think its a brake fluid resovoir that must have identity markings on it etc

As far I remmber glancing through SVA manual the only thing was to be labelled in that area is the brake M/C.
