Greatest Rally driver

Ok following on from the greatest F1 driver.......... who in your opinion is the greatest rally driver ever?

I think I'd go for Colin McRae. I met him once - What a top bloke!

Of the current drivers Sébastien Loeb is head and shoulders above the others for me.

Modern rallying doesn't "float my boat" like the old Escorts tail sliding around the forests.

Best rally driver...as long as they come from Finland (okay possible exceptions for Loeb and Sainz) you could take your pick from any of these guys over the last 30yrs or so

Tommy Makinen
Marcus Gronholm (bets on he wins over Loeb this year?)

MacRae was always quick but very erratic (and still is!) but should have won more than 1 WRC championship but for politics and poor cars.
