I'm refurbing my calipers at the moment, and was wondering what everyone had used to paint theirs? Do I need to get the expensive foliatec stuff, or will smoothrite / japlac / engine enamel do the job? I'm looking for a black finish if that helps.

Cheers

Adrian

Well Sierra calipers aren't exactly the best looking things are they so paint them black and nobody will look twice...paint them red and everyone will spot the boring sierra sliding calipers:D

I painted mine red with caliper paint from Hafords after the black smoothright fell off.

I quite like my Red calipers especially as we embrace diversity in my organisation:D
