I had a good day today.
No hangover ...Unlike some not far from me:rolleyes:

Went out and looked at the Sierra I bought during the summer.
It's been standing since August, started on the button:D

So thought good time to pull it out, ready for the transplant into my Roadster.
It's a 2.0EFI. Pinto

Nice one David

Beyond the call of duty, hoiking out an engine on new years day !!??
I guess it was not as cold as -13c today

That motor shoud give your Roadster a welcome boost in power.

Are you going to keep the injection system or are you going to go with carbs ?

Trophy Blue has the same engine in his car, Mark has kept the injection system & done a mod to suit the inlet manifold.

Went for a spin in that & Marks car is pretty darn quick :)

I have a PDF ( Thanks Mark ) of the mods if you need em mate ;)

like the big wheels on the back of your engine crane dave. the ones on mine are forever getting stuck in ruts when there is a bit of weight on the thing.

the 2.0 should give it a good kick up the ass. when you get pissed off trying to sort the ford ecu out as payback for all your help i will build you a mega squirt and put it on the car for you so you can get the most out of it.

Cheers guys.
I'm hoping to keep all the injection bit's just as they are.
My way of thinking is if I put it in the same way as it came out the donor then it should all work ok.

Fingers crossed on that one I think.
If not the yes please Ash, I'll take you up on your offer.

Ronnie, I would be interested in your PDF file.
Just to see what Mark has done to mod the inlet.

Cheers David
