the chassis is complete i have welded on all suspension brackets with jigs etc. all brackets were supplied by 3ge. seat belt brackets welded on,i have welded 3mm plate on the bottom rails in the engine bay to take the zetec engine mounts i made. i did throw a couple of coats of rust proof primer and the slappedon a coat of black paint and it has sat in the back garden under a tarp since august last year. if you have any more questions give me a shout

i could pick it up standing in the middle before i fitted the trans tunnel so i think it would go on the roof rack no probs but it would need strappedd down well.

Davie

forgot to say its built for an ally rear end.

Davie,

The carbs have just turned up.:D

I am really chuffed with them. They have the TPS on and are really close to the correct spacing for the CVH and really clean to boot. Thanks again I think I got a bargain.

Just need to get on with some building now.

http://www.nationalpallets.co.uk/

they were byfar the cheapest and the engine was picked up in Glasgow at 16:30 yesterday and has already arrived in Oxford today even though i payed for 48hr delivery. great service if anyone needs heavy items moved about the country.

I'll second that very impressed with the service, according to the wife they delivered it at about 10:30 (I haven't seen it yet but she says it looks engine shaped!)

Davie, thanks for sorting all this out, best of luck for the future.
