Are 2.5" Dia springs going to be ok?

Ash says that 1.9" ID springs barely fit in the top front wishbone.

you can see how tight 1.9's are in this picture so I would say 2.5's would be pushing it.

I measured the OD at 2.5"...

ID is 1.9" PHEW!!
