Ok so now there seems to be a few finished cars i just wondered how people have set up the geometry?

Once i am through iva i will get it set up properly but for the meantime is there an easy way to do it at home

I have visions of spirit levels, string, and a laser i use for aligning pulleys at work but im not 100% sure what im gonna do with them!

I also have some toilet roll tubes and pritstick if i need them :D

So does anyone have a "how to guide" or any tips?

I know the answer maybe a bit long winded but im sure alot of builders will benefit from it.

i did it the really technical way. Got dogwood to do it. Car seems to track nice and straight so he must know what he is doing. Im sure he will be along in a min to explain

for tracking at work we use a tape measure (tracking gauges are broken)

get someone to hold it on the front of the front wheel then someone at the back to pull it tight at the back

hold it away from the wheel (at the back)

then move it towards the wheel slowly until the tape touches either the back of the front wheel or anywhere on the back wheel

if it touches the back of the front wheel first you're toeing IN
if it touches the back wheel first you're toeing OUT

adjust accordingly :)
