Hi folks, just thought I'd pop a quick post in to show my face.
Just spent the afternoon with the two Andys from Saturn Sportscars. Big thanks to them for their time, advice, and especially the trip out in the roadster. Anyone thinking of building one of these is well advised to pay these guys a visit.
Anyway, looks like I'm gonna be placing an order with Saturn over the next couple of months, once I find a suitable donor. If any of you guys have any ideas where I can get my hands on a CVH engined Sierra for reasonable money it would be much appreciated.:D

Cheers guys. Already spotted 2 possible donors within 120 miles, both on the road and potentially cheap. Will let you know if they come to anything. Also, is there a market for the bits that aren't needed from the donor, if there's any money to be made it may allow me to spend a little more initially.

A am a member of the sierra owners club and a stalwart of the forum.. Anything you need to get rid of can be offered there ( although sierra owners are not generaly flush with cash ;) ) or fire it on ebay.

No Bonzo, I'm afraid 30 seconds in and I was thinking I wish I'd brought spare pants. It was 45 seconds in before I was thinking I got to get me one of these. Apparently he took it easy cos it was a bit cold and grip wasn't as good as it could have been!!!! Most fun I've had with me trousers on I can safely say.
And don't worry TT, I'll try and buy a knacker that won't make the next MOT.

Blame ron champian for that one, had a chance of buying a mk2 escort a few years ago for £100. I didn't because It wasn't very legit. However saw it at an mot station a few months later
