got a haynes roadster which i believe is 3ge's one they used at the exeter motor show in 2008. it has the in board suspension, so just woundering what size shocks and springs i need.

Could be best to ask 3GE,if not MK use a similar idea.
Would be interesting to see a pic of the suspension set up.

ask 3ge a bloak called keith said he dont no and have to wait untill johns back.

First,
That bloke called Kieth,(:D ).... how is John doing, on the mend I hope?

Second,
The shocks are 13" open length, as for spring rates then that depends on the weight of the car ,motor used etc and how you like the car to feel as nobody is the same.

so as long as i buy 4 dampers that are 13" open il be ok?? im having 250lb springs on front and 300/350 on back.

can anyone confirm that as long as i buy 13" open suspension for my inboard set up il be ok? as ready to order.

Do you have room in the front to fit them Layton,the steering rack is there aswell.
Maybe post a picture.

yeh plenty of room mate 3ge built the chassis for a show. steering rack is right at the front and the brackets to take the suspension is about 6 inches behind it.

Use something to mock up the shockers the same diameter and length and put it in place and see what it looks like and this will give you some idea of what will fit,plastic drain pipe ?:)

just out of intrest were does the lower section of the steering collum come in relation to the off side shock with the inboard setup...there carnt be much room for it

isn't to bad mate as the suspension bolts in the middle of the chassis at the bottom about 5/6 inches behind the steering rack. and the colum is rite over in the off side corner, if that makes any sense to you :rolleyes:

Wrong way around.. 350's at the front, unless you are using a bicycle engine

using a zx9r engine. so 350 on front?
