Bu****r, S**t, F**k, Bol**x

I've got to sell my Roadster..
Just had a serious finance prob raise its ugly head.
I'm in need of raising some cash quickly.
Unfortunatly the Roadster is the only thing I've got thats worth anything.

It is now on Ebay
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Haynes-Roadster-Locost-Kitcar-Kit-car_W0QQitemZ160427460162QQcmdZViewItemQQptZAutomo biles_UK?hash=item255a38c642

Anyone that knows me should know I'm a genuine builder.
And have only just finished a winter rebuild, with loads of mods.
Inc 2.0 Pinto engine, and full roll cage
Certainly not selling before Stonleigh, and won't be dropping out of the forum.
I'll just start again when this bloody problem goes away.

Got it up for BIN £5750, Will sell it for £5000 to any genuine forum member.

Absolutely gutted for you mate :(

I know the amount of blood sweat & tears that have gone into your build.

Going to be an absolute steal for someone :)

Let's hope that when things perk up for you .... You'll be able to start all over again

Must say, the Roadster is looking greater than ever following the winter re-build

Dave,

I must say your roadster looks fantastic, I am sorry to hear you have to sell up.

I am watching on Ebay, as are loads of forum member’s I’m sure.

If it is any consolation it is a great time to sell, coming into summer and any prospective buyer can have a good look at Stoneleigh. I shall be taking a close look for reference.

See you there it will be good to meat up again. I never got to say good bye last time we met.

Cheers Ginge

Things must be really bad to have to sell up David, there must be no way around it - daft thought, how much would the reg plate make?

Car looks fantastic though if its any consolation.....:(

See you at Stoneleigh.

Take Care....AndyH

Sorry to hear your in a rough spot. Why not see if some of your mates here can lend a hand as in set up a pay pal account for people to donate to help you out. I would truly be heart broken having to sell a work of art like that. I'm sure there are quite a few here that would like to help if asked.

Maybe they could sponsor me running the London marathon.
Oh too late it's over....;)

Anyway the cars all loaded up and ready for a Sparrow fart start tomorrow.
Booked on the 19.30 boat out of Calais, so home in time for a takeout..:D

See ya all at Stonleigh.
Safe journey getting there guys...

Sorry to hear you are having to sell - I was gutted when mine went even though the circumstances were different. Shame you can't start selling a "Roadster and France Experience" to let it earn its keep.

PS I wish I had realised where you lived! I have just had to travel back from the Algarve across land and sea due to the flight problems. One leg involved picking up a hire care in Bordeaux and driving to Le Havre via Le Mans. I must have been a gnats away from you - bet the kettle was on as well!

Sorry couldn't resist.

I assumed it was the code.
I went to my local supplier and said I want a metalic blood red
And a plain metalic silver.

He just sorted and mixed it for me from a chart, Honestly didn't see any codes.
I would defo say it is a deeper red than the pic shows.
Well on my comp anyway

Just had a guy come round to look at my car.
Local guy, seemed very interested.
But like the rest of us....Has to consult the oricle first...:D

If nothing else, I've directed him towards this forum.
So if you are reading this mate , welcome to the nuthouse.

Even if you don't end up buying mine.
It's still worth joining up, and asking questions about the Roadster.
Then you'll see where my enthusiasm for this car comes from

Agreed a deal with Dogwood. Hope all you guys will help me with this as I really like this Roadster but I am a real virgin to this type of car.
It was a Suzuki GT 750 or Dogwoods Roadster and Dogwoods car won (wife decided)
I am only local to Dogwood and hope to gain local knowledge of the car if needed.
Cheers,
Tony

welcome to the forum Tony, I,m sure you,ll enjoy the Roadster community as much as the car itself, :)

As for meeting up, well, we,re working on it by creating an "owners club" of the Roadster & hopefully we can all get together at organised events in the future.

all the best

Welcome Tony.
Mixed feelings in the Dogwood household tonight.
halfway between releife and pure sadness....
