hi,
On the weekend I sold the autobox I got with my cosworth v6 for the same price I got the engine and box for, free engine not bad really even if the engine needs work.

Well done Bobby :)
A self financing engine
That is the reason as to why my donor, number Two ended up as a net profit .... Great when it works out that way :) :)

Nice when a few quid can be made... Neither of my 2 24V's owe me any money.

Paid £46 for my donor, used all the bits I needed, sold the shell without any ID for £30, the wheels went for £40 and still have plenty left to make me some more cash....

Of my 27 car history...
Still own 4
Sold 12
Stripped 10
Building 1
And I striped another one that newver officialy became mine.
Strippig is the best way to make money back on most low value cars.

And in hindsight I probably would have stripped a few more of them.. Like a Pug 405STDT that i sold for £75 and my carlton that I only got £70. Both still very good cars but were going to cost a few hundred to put issues right...
I keep a running total of all my car costs since about 6 years ago...
