I am confused how many time's does the sva have to be done, in stages or at the end?

Correl,

One test (IVA not SVA that’s so last year) that is conducted at your local VOSA (http://www.dft.gov.uk/vosa/) station.

Then once it passes you will have to get it registered at your local DVLA (https://www.dvlaonline.gov.uk/Homepage.asp) place.

Fundamentally that’s it.

You can build away for years (ask Bonzo:D ) before troubling VOSA
