would this be road legal and would it work on a kit car?

No problem with legality, for the SVA you'd have to check how it was lit at night. It says "Bright White Backlit LCD Display" for the SVA the illumination must come on with the vehicle side lights, some of these units light up by pushing a button on the fascia.

I'd also be a little worried that the sensors might not work with your particular engine, they seem (From the listing) to be motorcycle model specific.

Good price if it works though.

Cheers

Chris :)

Hi
I have something similar from Acewell and it lights up when ignition turned on, have had it wired up and all seems good, speed sensor will pick up from propshaft and it also has fuel and temp gauge. Was £80 and well worth it.

You can get these digi dashs from rally designs for £60 and they also do an outer cover that has the warning lights on it for £15, looking to put the same in mine when i start building it

Yes it would be road legal, just make sure you're not confusing the one in the ebay ad "Vapor" (which seems to be pretty basic) with the "Veypor" http://www.veypor.com/ which has many more features (but obviously costs more) ;)
