Is there more than one type of sierra steering column cover? I tried mine on for size today, the screw holes dont seem to line up, and there's about an inch gap at the top between the cowel and dash...

Been having a browse on locost builders, turns out there's 2 different ones. Mine's the shorter type, which is why i've got a gap.

There's the MK1 one too..

Do you have an adjustable column? The long one is for adjustable.

MK1 one is almost the same as the non adjustable MK2 but a bit squarer and grained.

You should be able to use any of them, but they were designed to fit a sierra so a little bit of modification may be necessary.

Fortunatly, if the one you need is the long one, then it's the cheap one. And if your MK2 short one is in good condition then you shoudl be able to make a few £ on it.

Does that mean the adjustable (longer one) will fit a standard column?

Done a little more work on the dash today when i got bored of wires.

Here's the gap i'm talking about. Might just add some sort of surround to the dash itself just to cover the gap. Might be easier.
