Aluminium prices

Just been pricing up ali for floor, rear bulkhead and side tunnel. For 2.0mm floor and 0.9 for the rest came to around 125 quid delivered and cut roughly to size. Is this OK, or can anyone recommend somewhere cheaper.
Also, the website didn't state what grade, so will have to investigate further.
If I'm using total GRP bodywork, is this all I'll need? (2x floor panels, 3x tunnel parts and the rear bulkhead) or am I missing something.

Use one sheet to do the floor and cover the bottom of the trans tunnel..3 bits for tranny tunnel 1 bit for seat bulkhead but seat doodah could be done in 2 bits if easier on material if you get my drift?

As for price I have no idea these days but would expect not cheap as ali never was:eek:

Guess i got a bargain today then ? 2800x 1400 3.0 mm ali for £60 ? :D

its from my local scrap yard ! i try to visit every friday and they had some old signage in from a local hotel (similar size to petrol station price display)

2800mm x 140mm x3 mm so my floor can come out of the first meter :)

pretty much everything on my build has been recycled i dont think ive bought anything new apart from my chassis kit but when you think of it thats probably been something else before andy bought it and cut it up :D oh and the wishbones from saturn
