is it acceptable to secure fuel pipe to copper brake using cable ties?
the brake pipes have been secured to chassis with appropriate brackets and rivets.

No since the two pipes would be able to rub together

run the pipes threw there own seperate P clips

You can do, but the zip tie has to be fixed onto something solid (not an adhesive pad) and it must hold the fuel line tight without the chance of movement that could lead to wearing of the line.

Personally I used rubber lined P clips to hold my copper fuel lines.

Are plastic P clips ok for fuel and brake lines or do they have to be metal?
