I have been going through my engineers notes on how to get my car passed by the RTA (basically our place where we need to pass an IVA of sorts), anf he has asked these questions

"I need to review your theoretical design considerations of
- Steering geometry
- Suspension geometry
- Spring rates
- structural integrity
- Side impact strength"

So, who out there would have diagrams in relation to the above points? Seems i need to send a Roadster to the crash testing place to get everything this bloke wants.

Join a car building club and ask around. The club may have certain Engineers who are more clued up on the style of car and you might have to classify it as a locost to aid ther issue.Just a thought.

I 2nd this as the Locost has been through the Australian testing system although it did have to have extra tubes adding to stiffen up the chassis. Quite sure the front frame section requires one or even two tubes within it to create triangulation.

A good idea. There arent too many Clubs in NSW that i can see. Unfortunately the Oz Clubbies forum went by the wayside. It was an excellent place to go to get ideas and help. I think i'll have to give the Cobra Car Club of NSW a go as they are the closest i can find.
