Just wondering if self tapping screws like these http://www.diy.com/diy/jsp/bq/nav.jsp?action=detail&fh_oneslice=true&fh_view_size=10&fh_eds=%3f&fh_location=%2f%2fcatalog01%2fen_GB%2fcategories%3 c%7b9372015%7d%2fcategories%3c%7b9372044%7d%2fcate gories%3c%7b9372213%7d%2fspecificationsProductType %3dself_tapping_screws%2fspecificationsSize%3e%7b_ w__3_5mm_x__l__10mm%7d&fh_secondid=9708753 with a rounded head are considered IVA friendly to use in places like the cockpit to attach panels etc?

I wouldnt use self tappers as they have a tendency to snap off when left for a long peroid of time.Better off using rivets or use rivnuts if you may want to remove the panel frequently and easily.

Fair enough that's a good idea. I guess screws with a rounded head like those to go into the rivet nuts would be ok from a radius standpoint at iva?

Button headed allen bolts are the best to use as nice an low and if you use stainless steel ones they look smart too. Plated ones soon look rubbish.
