I don't know why.

I keep getting ideas about getting it and fitting a top notch leather interior/tv/stereo and having a really nice paint job and 3 piece split rims.

I did the same daft thing earlier in the year and bought a Manta Ray beach buggy shell, then along came a veedub chassis at right price...big intentions and all that.

Idea for a book there Chris....;) ;)

My ebay finger bought that earlier this year but with what we have to do etc no time to build the thing.
Intended to change it a wee bit even make it longer so floor pan didnt need shortening as manta ray's were only short wheelbase numbers...longer would enable a 4 seater....:rolleyes: equals sell more seats...:D

The buggy was meant to be a toy but no space and no time anymore for that....
Besides my daft creation needs the space and what little time I can give it, it's moulded so need to make one for real rather than a wooden thing...:D

Chris the trick is to buy it then have the vote/argument after :D personally i haven’t tried it yet as becoming homeless doesn’t appeal to me. But let me know how you get on and then i will give it a go based on your recommendation :D
