Just spotted the neighbour going out. I had not put fuel in up until now as I wanted to make sure everything was ok (spark, pump, injectors) before going for it. So put some fuel in, furned the ignition on and off 5 times until I could hear the pump pushing fuel back in to the tank, held my breath and.......
SHE LIVES!!!! Started first time and ran as smooth as a cashmere codpiece. Bit louder than I thought and I suspect very rich but it ran. Turned it off pretty quick as it is a bit late but will get back to it tomorrow. All the wiring is in dangley mode at the moment so I will cut it all back, rejoin it and tidy it all up. Then just need to get my prop from D&F and I can give it a quick once around a private car park. Happy days. Thanks for all those that helped, especially the fountain of all knowledge - TT. Best and all that, Dave. PS don't ask me for a video I have no idea how to do that.:) |
