Just measured this flange and it uses different reg diameter and bolt hole pcd to that drawing. Its not a problem for me to make the prop for you with the sierra flange one end and the transit the other if you want.Do you know what length prop you want?

Damn  Not lucky all the way!

Just sent you another PM.

Thanks.

I will see if the transit flange has the space to re drill for the sierra pcd. PM sent.

That would be great Bob. Just let me know. Perhaps the reg of your flange would need to be machined too?

I just sent you a PM about that and with the measurements you asked for.

Thank you :)

Slightly off-topic but I have also been looking into this and also trying to find a lower cost solution than having a propshaft made.

I've read somewhere that it's possible to use a Landrover propshaft as this has a sliding section and UJ at each end of a one-piece shaft.

Has anyone heard of this before?

John.

I sent you an email with my post address, and you can reply by giving me the price you want and the shipment cost to Sweden.

I also just wanted to make sure that the round flange will fit the propshaft. The propshaft will come with the same flange that fits on the Sierra differential axle.

Size/register/PCD (holes are not equidistant) of the differential axle are as on the sketch below, so the flange should be the same.

Could you please confirm?

Thank you so much.

Attachment 1651

I have measured the transit flange and the register is 72.15mm and the pcd of the existing holes is 6 bolt @ 97mm. So with a simple ring made up the register can be reduced and it does look like the sierra prop pcd can be drilled on to it missing the transit holes. I will try to find a sierra flange just to make sure.

Thank you very much for that Bob. That would be great if you could make the necessary transformations of the flange :)

But please let me know by PM what you would charge for the flange+work+shipment because my budget is tight and I need to plan the money for that.

Thank you.
