Taper reamer

Hi Everyone
I noticed from some earlier threads that there's a taper reamer doing the rounds. Just doing my uprights and I was hoping to borrow/buy/rent or whatever the arrangement is. Can anyone help?

I think its handyAndy reamer, maybe pm him he will probably know who has it and will be able to let you know.I think the deal is that its free but you have to post it to the next person who needs it.I may be wrong though.

Just a quick one, (and a bit of a thread highjack, sorry).

But we do this F.O.C for anyone who purchases their wishbones from us.

Kind regards

John.

This reamer has been very well used now.

its still bloody sharp too it cut the 15mm steel into the perfect taper for me shame i had to go from a 12mm hole up to a 15mm-17mm taper !! only the one blister it could benefit from a longer handle i thought ?:D

gaz05 1st January 2011 02:06 PM

Yeh. Still pretty sharp. I used a thin screwdriver through the hole. Made the work a lot easier.

mark 1st January 2011 08:07 PM

I welded a nut on the top of mine and used a T bar on it miles easier than the little bar they come with

monsterob 1st January 2011 09:27 PM

I too used a screwdriver but still ended up with a blister
As it was the borrowed reamer i didnt want to modify it
