Looking good.

Is the chassis painted in red oxide? I was once told that you shouldn't leave something in red oxide paint for longs as the surface is very porous and will gather water etc? Not sure itf that's true or not - any painting experts on here?

fabbyglass 21st July 2009 10:02 PM

All undercoat is porous at least I think it is but then I'm thick :)

Jimmyd 21st July 2009 10:05 PM

I forget what it's called but similar to red oxide, I hated the surface rust particularly after being left in the rain when I needed the garage.
