I'm guessing dead battery if it's the same one I used.
Mine died around this time last year :(

Here's a good solution to diagnosing a faulty mx5 drivetrain.

Just but I managed to flatten the Van battery last week and so finally got round to getting a new battery charger. Charged up the van overnight then charged up the Super7 the next day. Started first time! So just a flat battery from lack of use. Phew!

Brilliant Thanks! One day Mr. Norton. lol

Still think nitro is the way for me to go! Just for a laugh and some cheap thrills. I'll let the kids hit the button! :D

I had nitrous on my v8 capri. I'd hate to think what its like on a light car like ours. Please do get a progressive controller otherwise you'll quickly overwhelm what grip we have.

That's the plan! :D

I'll start with a 50 shot and fit the lsd diff I have!

Does a turbo not sound more appealing? The power your engine will make with 50+ will feel good, probably like the right amount of power and I can imagine that once used to it you'll want it there all the time. You can tune it to behave in a more consistent and controllable way as well thus giving better drivability. A bottle of gas is not cheap either!

26 degrees in the shade and no wind so just been out in the little red lunatic. Wow! Need to get it to a hillclimb soon.:D
