Master Cylinder Sizes

Hi all,

I'm a bit stuck with the master cylinder at the moment, my doner was a GLS so have got discs all round but need a master cylinder to suit. From my basic lesson about cylinder sizes from the guy at Rally Designs at Stonleigh is it the case that the bigger the cylinder the less pressure displaced but the harder the pedal. Then the smaller the cylinder the more fluid it displaces but the pedal will be much softer.

Has anyone with the GLS/DOHC models had this problem?

Thanks

A number of people have upgraded their sierras to rear disk without abs, most have done it without the larger MC and say it's OK. They are not common, expensive and shared with the Escort RS Turbo.

You could use a Scorpio ( 94-98 ) MC , Mounting is a little different to the sierra but not a vast issue to overcome.

I'm running a DOHC and got a spare Sierra MK1 MC brand new in the box if you are interested? I bought it and forgot about it, so bought another one!

PM if you're interested
