So will the new panel fit the Triton rear panel?
Our rear panel is a bit different to the production version,we were assured however it fits on in same places and dimensions. |
It should do CM, they are built to fit the same chassis dimensions and it will only need to tuck into the bottom return on the rear panel to fasten to the chassis with the rear panel.
You'll have to put up some pics of your car, it's always good to see other roadsters. Andrew |
Thank you for that, we are in the process of putting a web page together showing off our toys and how we made our car so once it's finalised we will post the link up.

Just been on the phone to Mark who was Triton Products to ask him if anyone else had the modified panels like ours and he said yes there were two done in 2008 and both in Cornwall. He also said that the under panel will fit provided the mould has not been altered as he never altered that section of our rear panel.
We had a long chat about anything and everything, which was always the case while we were building our car.He always had time for a chat and helped with silly mundane things. I asked about his ban and the rumours he was getting back into the Kit Car scene but he just laughed and said yes on the car side of things and wouldn't say anything other than laugh about the other. So I guess it's a case of watch this space really. CM |

You loose out too much having a windscreen fitted to this type of car, the wind buffeting is worse with a windscreen fitted than with simple aero screens. It's also like trying to push a door through the air as the screen tends to be quite upright and acts like a sail.

True, but tell that to my Mrs who's worried about her hair blowing everywhere and getting hit in the face by bugs! :D
