Headlamp mounts

A few days ago HAndy told me the measurment for the headlamp mounts was 12cm, i cut them today, but for some reason measured 80mm

The lights dont touch the nose cone, and i've read for iva there's no minimum distance for the light's centers. However, i've also read that the light output must be visable from a 45' angle inward and 80' outward. Which i don't think i will have.

But then i noticed a pic of spud's car the lights are in a similar position. So will it pass iva? Or am i gonna have to reweld the brackets??

Any advice guys?

Cheers

Dave

For IVA (Section 25 Table 1), the edge of the headlights must be a maximum of 400mm from the outer edge of the car (outer edge of rear wings basically)

12 cm from chassis to center of mount/hole.
From the horses mouth (Andy) on saturday when I made mine.

Cars coming on nice there David but i'm afraid it looks like the lights aren't far enough out, as i think has been said the outer edge must be within 400mm of the outer edge of the car - really this would be the rear wing but in my experience they just take it from the front wing. Don't need to worry about angles as this is mainly for obstructions.

See you in the Morning....AndyH
