WANTED Sierra handbrake cable fitting

I'm after one of these end fittings so I can either solder or bolt on to a fresh cable

Hi,
In case you don't find these ends, here is what I used (bicycle cable stop):

It works a treat because it seats nicely into the "hook" of the lever. It hasn't moved since the car has been on the road. The other good thing is that you can pre-adjust it.

Good luck :)

You are probably better trying to mod the other end as I doubt you will find anything to replace that cable end unless you make it yourself.

Ford galaxy/sharan may fit.

If you go to a marine maker of rigging I think you will find they can sort out something that looks like that - and crimp it on

RAC/AA etc use them to repair cables.;)

I thought there was some issue with using bolted on connectors on the handbrake getting through the IVA?

No I don't think so, I think it's if you bodge two cables together on the handbrake so it can't even out the force
