Rev Counter

My 1.8 Cvh Donor didn't have a rev counter but had a clock instead. I know from an iva standpoint I need to use the original instrument cluster but will it affect IVA if I add some extra gauges like the rev counter using some of these 7 style gauge kits and then replace the donor instrument cluster post iva with the rest of the gauges from the set? Also would the rev counter connect to and will my donor parts have the connection considering it didn't come with a rev counter?

You dont have to use the donor clocks for iva, it just makes it simpler and costs nowt

You can use any form of instrumentation you like as long as they meet the radius rules, have all the required warning lights and an accurate speedo

Now you are going down the megajolt/carbs route you can use an output from the megajolt for the rev counter

Does anyone know if sw gauges (stewart warner) are any good as they're a bit cheaper than most? Looking for a classic look and i'm guessing mechanically operated ones are easier to fit?
