tunnel mods for 2.0 duratec
Does anyone know if the tunnel needs to be modified to fit 2.0 duratec and MT75? Any idea of the measurements?

The engine will be pretty much irrelevant to the tunnel, but the MT75 gearbox will require a wider tunnel, it's all been worked out and is on the furum here, somewhere, I'll see if I can find the link
There you go, scroll down the page a a bit http://www.haynes.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=2430 |
More to the point you wont be able to mount the Duratec to an mt75 unless you know better ? In which case please share the info on how. :)

I was going to make up a plate to mate them together. I was worried the type 9 would not be upto the job? I heard that 150ish bhp was the limit

Had not realised it was an ST170, but then again thinking about it... If it was an ST one then it would be a Volvo engine anyway ;) requiring an M90 box... TT |
Later ST's are fitted with Volvo 5 pots,a bit like the T5 motor.
