GRP body parts coming soon

I've held off showing people my works in progress as it has'nt worked out for others in the past ,so I've bitten the bullet and decided to take a chance on showing my workings out with the final results to follow soon.

I am currently working on making the nose, bonnet and scuttle for now which will be offered in gel coat in the choice of slate, mid or battle ship grey as it will make production and damaged/replacements easier to match as most people will end up painting their parts any way they will be able to colour match them at a later date.

Good on you Phil,i hope it all works out for you.You will soon be a one stop shop for roadster parts. If the fibreglass turns out as good as your fabricated parts you should have a lot of happy/future customers.

Love the nose phil, looks fantastic! I'll definitely be getting some bodywork from
you in the future then hopefully. Any plans for a rear tub/large scoop bonnet in the future? Good luck!

Cheers

Ash

My current plans run along the lines off producing the nose with the top vent supplied uncut but with the ridge left in place and supplied with it open with the air deflector fitted.
The bonnet will be supplied in both plain as per the pics for the time being and a beefy looking bulge to be added when I have taken the moulds for the plain one.
I have plans for a rear tub and a set of rear arches that blend into the side panels and the rear tub that has a little more shape to it than the simple 7 look, but one thing at a time I've the front to do first.

Lovely, sounds just like what I'm after, sounds like smoother lines are on the cards :-) cant wait to get my hands on it all when they're ready. I'll be following this thread closely I think.

Really nice looking bodypanels there Phil.

Will theses panels fit existing Haynes Roadster bodypanels from other sources?

Very nice work indeed..... I guess it's been keeping you busy for some time...

Would be nice if the bulge in the bonnet cleared both types of mazda engine as I believe one version of the engine intake fouled on the Saturn/nts bonnet
