So it begins...

Really it start during xmas break with getting the garage sorted. Prior to a major clear out it was hard to even get inside.
After some severe culling of crap, several coats of paint on walls and floor, high level racking and tools boards it is now a place I'm happy to be in. Good job really as I guess I will be spending many hours in there.

First job was to get the engine back home from storage at work.
Handy having a car that doesn't have any value
Not a lot of room to play with

Finally out of the car and safe in the garage.

A few bits to remove before bolting to the engine stand.

Then hit first of I suspect many problems. Need some M12 x100 bolts to attach engine which I don't have. Quick trip to work tomorrow will solve that. So that's it for now. Strip down starts properly tomorrow.

That looks like quite a compact garage.. Mine by comparison is quite large,,,, but still can't swing the cat in it ( he get's upset when you even try )

Yeah it's a bit tight but will only be assembly in there, all fabrication will be done at work. I plan on making some skates the chassis will sit on to allow me to shove it around to create working space at sides or ends as required.

I did this - effectively a big dolly for the chassis to sit on - it was really handy.
