Transmission Tunnel Help

Hi all,

I'm sure i'm repeating someone elses question but i've had a look and can't find anything. So I just wondered if there was any harm in using the MT75 transmission tunnel with a Type 9 Gearbox? This is incase i decide to upgrade the gearbox to the MT75 at a later date. I'm planning to build my roadster with a Pinto engine and then upgrade to a 2ltr Zetec on GSXR throttle bodies, has anyone else done a Zetec conversion? If so what gearbox did you use and transmission tunnel?

Thanks, Luke

You need a MT75 sized pedal box to start with though.

The only real disadvantage is you get a little less space. in the footwell.

I will be building with a MT75 tunnel even though I hope to use a Type9 as building a V6 MT75 Box requires a bit of work.

TT

Cheers twinturbo thats exactly what i wanted to hear! Just thought bigger would be better, leaves more options open for different gearboxes.
