Lathe?
 

Hi Chaps,

I'm gathering some more tools at the moment for my roadster build (renovating my house has kinda taken over recently, so not been able to start yet!)

I've always wanted a lathe and I guess a separate mill to go with it as well since I first used one at school many many moons ago. Would either of these be useful in the build of the roadster at all, or shall I wait and buy these once I've built the roadster for other projects?

Has there been any point in your build where you wished you had a lathe/mill?

No,although it would be useful here and there,I dont believe that one is needed for this project,BUT well worth buying when you can afford it.Google: lathes homemade,diy and homebrew (an american saying for homemade).It is quite realistic to build a modest but very useful lathe,for almost nothing.:) David
