wider interior
i want to make my chassis to have a wider interior to make it more comfortable for everyday use, how hard would this be and what would i have to do??

The limiting factor of the chassis is the length of the rear half shafts. If you have lobro bolt on shafts you could put spacers between the flange and the CV joints making the shafts longer. Another option is to put 2" wheel spacers on or find 10-15mm off set rims. I have a 46" waist and I fit the standard width chassis although I have narrowed the back of the tunnel by 40mm. I have standard escort SI seats that I have cut the seat base side bolsters down by 2" each side on and they fit treat.

46"
Sorry to be picky Phil but you must have meant chest size. -----Didn't you:o
I've just had a great idea ---build a roadster and get fit and slim at the same time PEDAL POWER:D Voodoo if you want me to act as consultant on that project let me know I've got a ruck of old bikes in the back shed:D |
No I defo have 46" waist band and a 52" chest and yes I fit in the standard chassis with a little space to spare.

If your chest size is bigger than your waist size then all I can say is
