Oh dear

Second post not a lot better

Are you 100% sure that you have spelt you user name properly :D :p

Why do you need a separate section to cover stuff for sale? Whats wrong with putting it under the section it would normally come in (engine, chassis, etc) with a "FS - xxx" style topic title? Or does this break some laws of the forum I have missed?
People are already flogging stuff on, not to make a profit, but to help fund their builds or help other forum members.

How long before this thread becomes invisible?

Missing threads

Yes there do seem to be some wholesale deletion of threads going on at the moment

The Off Subject & Announcements sections have had some huge deletions

It Is a pitty that the ammendment & tutorial stickys have gone :(

That will explain why the post counter is going bacwards in huge chunks !!??

On the bright side, I guess the folks at Haynes are just making some room for us all to carry on the banter :D

I'm not so sure it is anything to do with Haynes, I thought this site was run entirely by Chris. I am beggining to think it may be malicious.

Bonzo 23rd July 2009 10:06 AM

I belive that this forum is maintained & hosted by Haynes

More likely to be a Malicious hacker at work

Any forum administrator or owner would probably have the know how ;) :(

Haynes runs the forums, as Chris has previously stated. Infact Chris has mentioned he was unable to make certain changes to the forum, as he lacked the access rights.

With the greatest of respect.

Are you just here to cast the seeds of doubt & stir things up a little.

Any fool would know that a website can be hacked.

Many clever computer whizz kids out there.

In fact I know where quite a few lurk, probably with the desire to wreak havoc in the name of revenge. ;)

Sad times indeed :(

Nope, not at all, I am NOT trying to 'stir things up' as you suggest. Exactly the opposite, just trying to show that if Haynes had been deleting threads on mass, then the registered mods or admin have not been logged in.

Several suggestions have been made that its Haynes deleting them, or that the board is set to delete old threads automatically. I was just trying to suggest that it is neither.

I am really disapointed that all these posts (and almost all of mine) have disappeared and I hope there is a good recent back up to restore them
