Front Indicators

Hi all,

Has anyone got any pics of where and how they've mounted their front indicators?

Ta,

Hi Skov,
I remembered an old thread started by Handy Andy about that, and I found it.

There are lot of useful informations, examples and pictures (especially the gallery of Davidimurary).

Hope this will help :)

Thanks Sylvain, that thread's given me a bit of inspiration. I think I know how I'm going to mount mine now :)

Perhaps this can help in general...

Can you please tell me if I am reading the drawing below correctly and that you can mount the indicators directly below the head lights

Like on a caterham?

Or on the nose below?

Yeah like the caterham, I am about to start on the arms and the boss to bolt them to. I have bought some oval tube to modify, and then I am looking to machine some bosses to weld on the end, with a hole drilled into the side to pass the cables along the arm. I am desperate to have as little wiring on view as possible, the good thing is that students from summer school finish this week, most staff booked hols off until September so I can play until my hearts content.

I was planning on doing it a la Caterham below the headlight, it should be fine spacing wise from the front projection diagram. I can't remember if the front indicators need to pass an angled inspection as well?

I dont know but am going to give it a try i dont like the idea of extending the stalks just dont think they would look right

I've used the indicators from Kit Spares, http://www.kitspares.co.uk/shop/item...=4919&catsub=0 The length of the stalks is just right, but they obscure the bottom of the headlight if you look from below.
