It Lives Again

Engine ran again today(1.8cvh) for the first time in about 18 months.Frightened the life out of me when it fired not least because I had my hand over the carb to try and choke it. I ran around the workshop jumping up and down heart rate at about 120 beats / sec.:D Then had to go outside to relieve the CO poisoning.

I need to tidy the wiring up now then its bodywork. The important thing is a major cycle illogical milestone reached.;)

Ill post some pics of the first run out of the garage when we get a couple of dry days:)

I can just picture this scenario :D

A huge well done on this major milestone of your build, indeed it is a great feeling ( no, not the CO poisoning ).

Look forward to seeing the video, as I was once told..." no video means it didn,t happen " :p :D

Take off is very " snatchy" poss due to lack of any shock absorbing donuts in the prop shaft. Is this normal ? Prop is D&F .Can the problem be improved?
