I think this is the maximum design weight is it not? Whch peeps put down as 450KG? per axle.

Could be wrong.

450 front 450 back 900 gross put Na in the other 2.

body type is sports.

to get the kw times the bhp by 0.74570000 it will be lower than the bhp fig.

remember these are nothing to do with the actual weight of the car they are the maximum weight each axle can take and the total weight the whole car can carry including its self, passengers and luggage.

you will only come a cropper if the car weighs more than the weights on the form.

If you have a local frienly MOT station with an ATL it will give you the axle weights on the brake tester and as said the axle weights add up to the DGW
design gross weight ie total weight of vehicle in its heaviest form,fuel/oil/driver/passenger.

when speaking to vosa on the phone they said the gross weight cannot be higher than the combination of the two axle weights but it can can be lower.

I am also filling in IVA forms, what did you put in for max design road speed, 120mph??
Dennis.

spud69 17th February 2010 08:33 AM

Hi Dennis,

Best to keep the design speed as low as you can, only really effects the tyre rating and some design issues, but if you have used sierra engine with standard box and diff then the max speed will be 120mph.

Good Luck.....Andy

Great to see another 2 going into the IVA whirpool.....

i put 118 on mine. someting round the 115 to 125 mark will be realistic.
