IVA and roll bar mounted belts

While going about the mornings business (ahem) flicking through an old copy of CKC mag and reading about AshG's IVA fail. Had a thought about the seat belt mounts that connect to the cross brace in the roll bar. What if you had two long or four small bars that wraped around the back of the buckles that sat at an upward angle. If they where 19-22mm round tube bent to 90' and cut with 45' angles you could heavy tack them on,run round the gap with silicone, paint over and hammer off after the test. I'll put one together later and take a pic.

Don't quite get what you mean , so photo would help.:)

My harnesses will allow me to run over the bar and then straight down into the diff area. So I should not have the issue.

Do they pass IVA and are they still made? I know they where banned by NASA autograss after the end of the webbing pulled through on one car due to being incorrectly fitted.
