battery positive terminals
Obviously the starter motor and alternator feeds should be connected directly to the battery, but as I have positioned my battery in the passenger side footwell and the mega fuse in the engine bay. Is it feasible to connect them to this on the side where that connects to the battery?

Nothing stopping you that way, just insure you gromett the leads and put battery in box with drain through floor.(I would personally or use sealed battery,IVA tester will like that hopefully as acid will not be in the car).

Just a little bit of info that I found out recently....
The IVA tester likes to see the + terminal on the starter motor to be covered by a rubber cap, similar to the caps on the battery terminals. HTH cheers andy |
I'm using an odyssey pc 680 battery :)
Do they need to be fused or could I just connect them to the other side of the mega fuse? I don't recall them being fused on the donor? |
Some vehicles are fused as part of the battery terminal and others have fusible links in boxes at the terminal, its what suits your needs and is safe and IVA'able.

One of these off a Nissan note would be ideal...
