1st drive.
1st I have to say that the wonders of modern medecian and surgery have exceeded my expectations, despite tales of pain and problems from various quarters my hernia repair has been less of a problem than envisaged. After just 4 days I am walking about with almost no pain ( some dull ache ) and more freedom of movement than before, I just have to be careful not to overdo it!
I have been out a couple of times to fire up the roadster, and went out just before to put some stuff back in the garage. I decided to fire her up and put her in gear... and lift the clutch.. And she went forward, and backward :) only about 5cm but it's movement under power :D TT |
And by an invalid..... :D
Got to sort a better throttle return though. TT |
Pleased to hear you are doing well Rob :)
I bet moving the Roadster under it's own power felt great  Definately one step further than I have managed :o Well done on the double good news. |
It would be fantastic news if the car was not having to be totally stripped again before final re-assembly.. Still at least I know how it goes together.
The next holdup is that once fit, I have to put my old Mondeo in the garage and strip and sell all the bits. TT |
Glad to hear you are feeling better....
