wishbones

my wishbones seem to be very stiff would there be anything wrong or should they be that way

When supported on the brackets Misty they should be self supporting, dont have to be buts its a general guide, and be able to push them down quite easily. As long as you have greased the crush tube, silicone grease or copper slip, they will be fine. THe bushes need to be tight on the crush tube to work properly.

that's good cause they are self supporting and you can push them down or pull them up easily with very little push or pull but still firm . the rear are abit stiffer and you do need to push and pull quite a bit more to move them
