So if I read it right, £1000 comes from the government and £1000 is expected to come from the car manufacturer??? Having recently bought a new car and got an amazing discount, I'd be kind of surprised if you can get the £1000 discount from the manufacturer without trading anything in :D

Smoke and mirrors me thinks...

I have just read comment from the head of the AA on the scrappage allowance and the increase in fuel tax is what we will all pay for the priviledge.

What a whole load of 5h1t !
