what is the diffences between the roadster chassis and locost chassis(ron champion) because i have a shot at a pre built chassis no engine mounts welded just a complete bare chassis is the locost chassis adaptable with out to much hassel for indy rear suspension cheers

You will find yourself doing a lot of refabricating, the roadster is an all together beter design.

There is a Sierra IRS on a Locost chassis design called Rorty Locost:

It looks quite similar to the Haynes Roadster rear suspension, I guess you'd be able to adapt some of the Haynes components, rear uprights and maybe wishbones. Keep in mind that Locost is 2" narrower than Haynes, you might have to shorten the Sierra driveshafts.

The Roadster is also 4 inches longer .
