twin 40,s with a CVH

i,ve looked thru search facility but didn,t find anything, so as per title.... will a set of twin 40,s work with my CVH 1.8 engine ? if so what is involved apart from getting a manifold to match up?
sorry if this is a basic question but i don,t know the in,s & out,s of carbs/fuel set ups.
thanks in advance

i wish the bike i have sat here doing nothing had its carbs in nice straight line but alas they are a "V" layout for my V4 honda,
i,ll look out for some cheap bikes carbs & a manifold plate from "shortrack", tho to be honest it still confuses me how to put it all together :o  :D

Andy,
There is a breakers next to me I can go ask what a bank of 4 carbies is for quids, as for a manifold think of how they fit on the bike and make it longer..one end to fit the car motor the other the bike carbs but apparently you have to have each tube the same length so will mean adding to the throttle doodah and making the bracket longer

I think you need to get carbs off a bike that produces around the same horsepower as your expecting from your car engine.
Ray:)
